This flat, and very popular, 200km bike path was built along an old railway line that runs through the beautiful Laurentians. The scenery along this path is stunning, so be sure to bring your camera. You’ll cruise past serene lakes, meandering rivers, rolling hills and beautiful mountains.
Between the 1930s and 1960s, the train brought tourists to the Laurentians for summer and winter vacations. This bike path benefits from the businesses that are located along the old railway line. Stores, restaurants, pubs and more can be found along this bike trail! Many of the old train stations now house restaurants, tourist information centres and rest stops.
When starting your bike journey in Labelle, you can choose to bike along a beautiful, paved path north to Riviere Rouge and follow the peaceful, meandering river. Or, you may choose to bike south to Mont Tremblant. Either way, you won’t be disappointed.
Location
The train station in Labelle is about a 10km drive from Blueberry Lake. You can join the trail here and choose to head north or south.

In the Laurentians, both challenging climbs to test your limits and scenic long-distance rides are available. The Laurentians are particularly marvellous in the fall, when trees turn shades of red, orange and yellow.
You can cycle your way from Mont Tremblant to Labelle and Le Conception, or over to Lac Francais. Not only do the different species of trees make for stunning scenery, but the abundance of lakes in the area provide amazing views.
The routes are incredibly varied, with some only being a few kilometres long, to others spanning over 80km.
