Canada’s highest elevated restaurant is perched on the summit of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, soaring above the world at an elevation of about 7,700 feet.
Eagle’s Eye Restaurant is a one-of-a-kind experience and a must-do for any special occasion. The view will leave you breathless! Surrounded by massive windows, the incredible 360-degree views allow you to dine circled by dynamic, mountain peaks as far as the eye can see. Look over five of Canada’s glorious national parks all at once.
Award-winning chefs create dishes that feature salmon, buffalo and elk. With its five-star food and amazing back-drop for photos, the Eagle’s Eye Restaurant is frequently booked in the summer for wedding receptions. When skiing Kicking Horse or visiting in the summer, mountain-top dining at the Eagle’s Eye Restaurant is a must.

This is the hippest restaurant with the best food in Golden.
This ultra chic restaurant channels a big city feel, reminding us of dining in Vancouver, Toronto or New York. It’s popularity among tourists and locals keeps it buzzing with activity and fun. Service here is always professional and efficient.
Eleven 22 specializes in “modern, comfort cuisine”. For a starter, we recommend trying the Jamaican Chicken. For a main dish, it is hard to narrow it down to just one recommendation. Everything is delicious! But our favourite dishes are the The Nasi Goreng and Wok Seafood. Both of these dishes can also be made to suit vegetarian or vegan requests. For the carnivore, we recommend the braised Lamb Shank.

3. Bacchus Books & Café

You might be surprised to find such an incredible cafe in a book store.
For many tourists, this amazing cafe remains a hidden gem, but now you’re in on the secret! Bacchus Books & Cafe specializes in what they refer to as “labour of love” foods, which translates into fresh, homemade, quality, healthy, mouthwatering and mostly vegetarian dishes and baked treats. We recommend trying their homemade soup on a winter day or a freshly baked, scrumptious muffin and coffee for breakfast on the go. Their veggie burgers and the turkey wrap are also delicious! The service here is always friendly.
