With its unique European feel, it goes without saying that you’ll find great food in Mont Tremblant.
Many of the restaurants here feature the French-Canadian classic poutine, which is a must-experience when you visit any Quebec town. With a selection of great restaurants situated slopeside, you can ski right to the front door for an afternoon of apres-ski. But with such a vast selection of restaurants of varying cuisines and ambiance, this dining guide will help you make the most of your time in Mont Tremblant.
Here are just a couple of the spots we visit whenever we’re in town:
CASUAL EATERIES
La Forge Bar et Grill
Set over two floors, La Forge Bar et Grill offers an ideal location next to the ski slopes in the Upper Village. Ski to the restaurant, take off your gear and you’re all set for La Forge’s unforgettable Mont Tremblant apres-ski experience.
The main floor at La Forge is their bistro-bar, serving pub food and an extensive drink menu. For a real French-Canadian experience try one of their many poutines – go for the classic or try the crispy duck confit and BBQ sauce gourmet version. If you’re not in the mood for poutine, La Forge also serve a selection of different burgers and fries, pizzas, sandwiches and a variety of mac n’ cheese dishes. Nothing beats great apres-ski pub fare!
If you’re craving something a little heartier, head up to the second floor and dine at the grill area. The menu here is especially tantalizing for meat lovers. Perfect for a special occasion, the menu at the La Forge grill features meats grilled over maple wood fire and paired with an exceptional wine list. Splurge and try the kobe beef, or indulge with a classic filet mignon or New York strip.
