1. Lions Park Beach

Featuring a convenient downtown location, a sizeable beach and excellent facilities, Lions Park Beach is an awesome place to enjoy a hot summer day.
Lions Park offers change facilities, washrooms, a playground, a public boat launch and a floating pier for short-stay boat tie-ups. A large grassy area, picnic tables and beautiful trees for shade make this park perfect for a picnic. Restaurants, coffee shops and stores are within a short walk. A paved walkway connects Lions Park with neighbouring Gyro Park.

2. Gyro Park Beach

Popular Gyro Park Beach in Osoyoos
Stretching along the lake’s shore in downtown Osoyoos, Gyro Park features a narrow strip of sandy beach, a beautiful grassy area, large shade trees and washrooms.
Restaurants, pubs and stores are a short walk. In the summer, Gyro Park is alive with evening music concerts. A paved walkway connects Gyro Park with neighbouring Lion’s Park.

3. Cottonwood Beach

Offering shallow water that reaches far into the lake, Cottonwood Beach is excellent for families with small children.
Build sandcastles on the sandy beach and picnic in the grassy area. Cottonwood Park was developed by locals and boasts colourful flower gardens, well-maintained landscaping and a paved, wheelchair-friendly walkway. Rest on one of the park benches and relish in the stunning vistas. Washrooms are also available. In the afternoon, Cottonwood Beach doesn’t offer a lot of shade. Be prepared with sunscreen and/or an umbrella.

4. Haynes Point Provincial Park

Haynes Point is one of the most noticeable geographic landmarks in Osoyoos.
A narrow spit that juts far into Osoyoos Lake, Haynes Point Provincial Park boasts waterfront campsites, a beach, change rooms, picnic tables, a dog beach and walking trails. Haynes Point has a natural marsh that is rich in bird life, including canyon wrens, white-throated swifts and red-winged blackbirds. Stroll along the boardwalk through the wetlands and climb to the top of the spotting tower for a bird’s eye view of the marshes.

5. LEGION BEACH
