• Food & Drink: A grocery store and bakery are about 2km away, and the bakery takes orders for fresh bread and croissants the day before. A car is recommended to reach these and other shops, as the village itself keeps to a small footprint. Look out for Savoie staples such as tartiflette and Beaufort cheese fondue on menus around the wider valley.
• Outdoor Activities: Beyond the beginner-friendly "tapis de l'ourson" ski area with its two lifts, the region is known for its extensive ski touring routes and cross-country trails. A snowpark, sledging runs, dog sledding, paragliding and snow tubing round out the options, with ski and snowboard schools for all ages and levels.
• Places to Visit: The village sits at 1,100 metres in the Savoie Alps and has held onto its traditional character despite modern ski infrastructure. The wider Maurienne valley, known for its historic villages and Baroque-era churches, is easily explored by car. The Col du Glandon and Col de la Croix de Fer, two of the region's classic Alpine passes, make for scenic drives once the roads reopen in summer.

Fees Upon Arrival

• A refundable security deposit of €250 per accommodation is required and will be returned after inspection, provided there is no damage, additional cleaning or missing items.
• In compliance with local regulations, a daily tourist tax may be applicable during your stay. The rate is subject to change. For precise information based on your dates of stay, please consult the local municipality.
