The area around Panorama features some incredible hiking trails, from family walking trails that take under an hour to complete, to rugged trails with beautiful wilderness scenery and large changes in elevation – there’s something for everyone! If you love hiking, make sure you check out the Lake of the Hanging Glacier trail, which will lead you to a stunning blue glacier lake, and the Jumbo Pass hike for surrounding scenery of glorious peaks, alpine lakes and wildflowers blooming.

Panorama’s Greywolf Golf Course is a must to experience. Legendary architect Doug Carrick designed the beautiful, award-winning course, which has been named one of the best in Canada by Golf Digest. Greywolf is nestled in stunning mountain scenery and boasts plenty of elevation change and unparalleled views along the fairways. The course’s crowning jewel is the famed Cliffhanger hole, where the ball must land on a cliff-side green. An incredible day out for any golf lover!

Panorama Resort features 17 mountain trails for bikers, many of which received refurbishments and reroutes just last year. The terrain is perfect for all experience levels, making it ideal for families. The recent addition of a new top to bottom beginner trail has proved very popular, as well as the brand new intermediate jump line on the Mercy Me trail, and some huge new jumps on the expert Hell’s Bells trail. The resort also has a number of cross country bike trails for those looking to ease into the mountain biking experience.

MOUNTAIN YOGA
Every morning during the summer season, guests can sign up for a magical Hatha Yoga class set against pristine mountain scenery. All abilities are welcome, and the class size is limited to ensure the experience is as refreshing as possible. The class takes participants through a wonderful variety of stretches, poses and sun salutations. The instructor, Jody, has 15 years of experience and is totally focused on helping each individual make personal progress.

Kids are very well catered for at Panorama, making it a wonderful choice for families with active little ones. Enjoy a dip in the biggest slopeside pools and hot tubs in Canada, open year round.
